5月28日，由中国文化传媒集团、包头市人民政府主办的第三届中国游牧文化旅游节暨文化旅游项目新闻推介会在京举行。
记者获悉，第三届中国游牧文化旅游节将于7月11日开幕，主要在达茂旗百灵那达慕文化产业园区和各苏木乡镇举行。活动分为夏秋核心季(7月11日开幕)和冬春核心季(12月12日开幕)。夏秋核心季包括英雄草原、激情草原、欢庆草原三大板块，冬春核心季包括“冰雪草原”板块，主要举办文化、体育、商贸、旅游四大类共计157项活动。
第三届中国游牧文化旅游节以“中国·达茂——把草原交给世界”为主题，活动突出原生态、群众性、娱乐性、产业化、实效性，彰显“崇尚自然，践行开放，恪守信义”草原文化核心理念。
发布会上，中国文化传媒集团监事会副主席王旗，包头市委常委、副市长李中军和达茂旗委书记伏瑞峰分别致辞。主办方有关负责人表示，力争把中国游牧文化旅游节打造成具有示范意义的“文化盛会、发展平台、群众节日”，将文化旅游产业打造成达茂旗新的支柱产业，将达茂旗打造成内蒙古体现草原文化、独具北疆特色的旅游观光、休闲度假基地。
